ITEM DESCRIPTION: Vintage Antique 4.5" Bisque Pin Cushion 1/2 Half Doll with Original Skirt, Holding a Book. Here is a sweet Victorian half doll, pin cushion. She is holding a book between her hands. Dressed as a French or 18th century fancy lady wearing her hair piled high on her head with a blue hair ribbon and bow, a pink and white square necked gown with blue bows on each puffy sleeve and a full dusty pink silky skirt. Underneath she has a pink lace trimmed tulle petticoat and her original 3" wide pin cushion. She is very delicate and a nice original addition to your sewing collection. MEASUREMENTS: 4 1/2" Tall, Base is 3" wide, Skirt is 5 1/2" wide.MARK: She is not marked.Will ship First Class Mail wrapped in tissue and bubble wrap at about 14 oz. CONDITION:Good displayed and moderately used condition. She has good facial painted features. No chips cracks or hairlines to the porcelain or bisque. Her skirt has pin holes in it from being used as a pin cushion. It had stickpins in it so the pinholes are not as numerous as if it had been used for sewing. The fabric portion appears to be original and has over all age soiling, dust and small stains.
