FREE Birthday Contra Dance with the David Holodiloff Band, Andy Shore calling - N.A. - (Carmel-by-the-Sea, CA)

Come on down and dance with us! Our next regularly scheduled contra dance will be: FREE Birthday Contra Dance with music by The David Holodiloff Band, and calling by Andy Shore. The amazing David Holodiloff Band plays a wide-ranging musical repertoire, from bluegrass, Celtic, and jazz standards to latin rhythms and gypsy swing with plenty of Eastern European flair. They will be coming off of their CD release party the night before, "The Balkan Projekt." Longtime dancer Lynn Wilde is sponsoring this contra dance to help celebrate her birthday. Schedule: Doors open at 6:30pm Beginners' contra dance orientation at 6:40pm (highly recommended!) Dancing from 7:00pm until 10:00pm There will be a 15-minute break about 8:30, with healthy potluck snacks to share. Prices: FREE to all! Remember, beginners and newcomers are always welcome. You don't need to bring a partner, just come and dance with us!
