TN Walking Horse Gaited Grade Gelding - $2,000 - (Hugo, MN)

I purchased Big Red in October after having lost my steady mellow 29 yo QH. He is a TN Walker possibly crossed and does have the running walk. fifteen yo. No documents. Stands about 16hh. He is a big teddy bear seeks attention and people but has turned out to be more highstrung than I want. Our personalities dont mesh and he requires more attentiontraining than I have time to provide. He is spooky and needs to be desensitized as well as given a brushup on the basics. His spooks are not bad he starts takes a few steps and turns to look at what is scaring him. Once introduced to things he shrugs them off. He handles well on the ground keeps a respectful distance and follows your movements without pressure on the lead. Stops when you stop turns when you turn walks on when you do etc. Now he needs someone to help him translate those nice basic skills into the saddle. He is broke I would say more greenbroke and has been ridden. Was used for trail rides. No bucking rearing kicking biting etc.
