Gently used sterling silver tea caddy.Looks to be hand hammeredEngraved on bottom with July 5, 1885Engraved on the front with the letter L (or at least that's what it looks like)Bottom is marked with STERLING and 24 as well as a mark that looks to be a circle with a line to a diamond. The diamond has 1885 inside of it.The caddy measures approximately 3" tall including top with a 2.5" diameter. Without the top the caddy measures approximately 2.25" tallCaddy has some tarnishCaddy does show some signs of wear.Bottom has a few minor scratches.We are not the original owners of this tea caddy and do not know its history.
