An edition of 6,000 copies of this book were printed. Chagall made 15 lithographs for this book, 5 of which are on two facing pages. Two of the lithographs are in black and white, while the 13 others, including the cover, are in color. Separate printing was made on Arches with large margins of 90 copies of each lithograph, numbered and signed by the artist. Maeght, Publisher 1957. Image is 9x7.75 inches.
