Cool vintage General Radio Tube-type Oscillator Cambridge-era 1301-A - $145 - (Iron Mountain, MI)

Here's a very cool-looking black-crinkle paint GR low-distortion oscillator, probably from the early-to-mid 1950s. Well-designed, impressive outside and in, with huge transformers and tubes (some of which may be weak and old at this point) It may have been made for or used by the US Air Force under contract. You may need to clean up and calibrate the unit; also it needs a two-prong AC power cord. I've heard tales of engineers modifying these for audio recording use, effects, weird frequency swoops and sweeps, intentional distortion, psychedelic 1968 madness!, etc.A return policy is available. Just return in like condition within 30 days if not satisfied. Buy without worry! See other auctions for more radio, broadcast audio, music stuff! Buyer prepays and pays shipping. International buyers please refer to the shipping calculator. Please note S/H costs include postage, packaging, processing, and handling. Thanks for looking!
