Original 1950 Lewis Model 62 Sewing Machine Parts & Operating Instructions - $5 - (La Porte, IN)
It is time for us to downsize and sell some of our collectibles and other items. We have so much that we are going to start the bidding at very low prices. We have been collecting for over 50 years and even had a small business selling antiques & collectibles at local fairs, shows, & festivals. Some items we had bought new and other items we had bought at estate sales and auctions. We hope you will get as much joy out of them as we have. Up for auction is an original soft cover operating instructions and parts booklet for Lewis Model 62 industrial sewing machines. It has a date of 10-23-1950 hand written in pencil on the top of the front cover. It features instructions on the operation of the machine as well as some parts diagrams. The covers are in fair condition with some wear at the edge of the covers, a little dirty, some rips and tears, no writing in it, and has off white pages. There is a chunk missing on the lower right of the front cover and an area where there was some tape on it. The inside pages are in very good condition. We are not the original owners having gotten this years ago from an estate auction of a family member who owned a local garment factory. This was probably a sewing machine used at the factory. It has just been on stored away in our smoke free home with other collectible paper items. Please look closely at the pictures. Any bright white or light areas in the pictures are just reflections and are not on the item. It measures 6 1/2" x 9 3/4" and has 32 pages with printing on one side. This is a great collectible at a great price with no reserve. I will ship this to you carefully packaged in a box via first class mail. Buyer is to pay the actual shipping cost. If E-Bay miscalculates and you pay too much I will refund you the difference if it is over 50 cents. If you pay too little, I will absorb that cost so you don't pay anymore.
