DUAL 1216 TURNTABLE. Hi this turntable is ready for a project or restoration. A classic hifi collector may enjoy this turntable... PLEASE READ ON. This 1216 powers on, operates at all three speeds 33-45-78, tonearm functions as designed, end of record auto cut off works, factory cartridge is factory mounted and not damaged. The motor works quietly and dust cover is in great condition, only a few scuffs or marks. INCLUDED is the changer spindle too. The cuing lever works well. The things I notice that may need attention is the Stop switch does not seem to want to kick in, The auto play seems to not want to operate. It will function with manual control and end of play auto return seems to work. The screws that hold the spring suspension down to the plinth are loose and part of the plinth to lock these down are a bit dinged up. Any person who is mechanically inclined to look at, adust and or work/lube the mechanisms will likely be good to make this a project/restoration table THIS TURNTABLE IS SOLD AS IS AS BEST DESCRIBED... A COOL PROJECT OR RESTORATION TURNTABLE...DUAL COLLECTORS MAY ENJOY AS WELL. It will need tending to to bring up to factory specs.
