Vintage HANDMADE Mardi Gras Decoration Corsage Spun Cotton Millinery Masks Glass - $60 - (Poplarville, MS)

Here we have a pretty Mardi Gras corsage to wear or decorate your seasonal tree or wreath. It's thick and measures 7 inches tall by 5 inches wide. There is a delightful spun cotton man with top hat and chenille body in formal attire. He hangs onto a lamp post. He wears a green glitter mask and three strands of Mardi Gras beads in purple, green, and gold. He is nestled in a thick collection of green, gold, and purple glass balls that include two indents. There are three flower picks made of purple, green, and gold tinsel, tinsel stems of green and gold, and a gold tone tragedy comedy mask which is actually an old vintage pin. I stuck some little purple millinery rosebuds in there too. In the background are purple tulle leaves. The very back is comprised of two purple foil corsage leaves, silver on back. The man's little glitter mask on this corsage is not vintage, but I have had it in my stock for about 15 years. The little strands of Mardi Gras beads are current Mardi Gras beads and not vintage. Everything else is vintage. I made the bow from lovely purple rayon tinsel ribbon and green tinsel ribbon. I wrapped the stem in purple floral tape and included a new safety clasp. My home is smoke free. Some of our family members have four legs.
