EMPIRE 698 TURNTABLE EXCELLENT ++ - $1,600 - (Birmingham, AL)
Please supersize and examine my photos closely. This has been my pride and joy when listening to vinyl for over forty years. I loved it so much that I bought a second one in the mid eighties. Just in case. I am seventy two now and my ears are no longer up to this fine machine and have not been for some time now I kept it longer than I should have just to look at it. I am going to build a model railroad in what was my listening room so I plan to dispose of most of my audio equipment. This 698 has the cue speed adjust on the bottom. All functions are as when it was new. Also included is the Empire 1000ZEX cartridge a very high end cartridge with Quad capability and a nearly new OEM stylus. I am unwilling to try to properly package this table and take the chance it will be lost or damaged in transit. So the buyer must be willing to pick the table up in the Birmingham Alabama area. I may be willing to deliver within 400 miles of Birmingham for the cost of gas. My number is on the photos, if a prospective buyer would like to discuss the table. The table is sold as is with your inspection upon pickup.
