Victorian Fostoria glass (F.&G.Co) gas lamp Converted to Electric Hand Painted - $65 - (Ajax, ON)

Offered is an old Fostoria Gas lamp, converted to electric around the 1940's. Marked F. & G. Co. It works well, original base with added glass shade and a bulb that is made to look old style and gives off a nice golden glow . Base is hand painted and in excellent condition. No chips or cracks in the glass and there is no rust in the metal base. Measures 16.5" tall from the base to shade top. May need a new plug end at some point, works fine just some of the plastic housing broken off. The painted design is on the front and back of the lamp.
