Vintage Dewees Cochran Doll Look-Alike 16.25" Brochure and Artist Signed Letter. Included with this doll is an amazing letter from Dewees Cochran sent to the owner of this doll. In the letter Dewees tells about her trip to Chicago for the introduction of the Look-Alike with The Marshall Fields stores. She also talks about an optional outfit for this doll, and even returning the human hair that the doll owner wanted Dewees to make a wig from. Also included is the original brochure that Dewees mentions in the letter. The history of this doll as explained in the brochure is very interesting. Face and head have some white spots and brown spots. There is a brown discoloration above the left eye. The latex has hardened due to age. There are some some surface cracks in the latex in the arms and hands. The arms are loose and could benefit from restringing. The feet have discoloration left from the shoes.Body is a little rough overall.Dress is old and worn and is a little large for this doll. We believe this is the Cynthia.
