Allied Radio model 339 AM/FM Receiver - $60 - (Tulare, CA)

Allied Radio Model 339 AM/FM Receiver $60 Waaayyyyy back there was a company out of Chicago called Allied Radio. They sold all sorts of electronic equipment and build-it-yourself kits.I bought this (factory assembled) almost 50 years ago but it has not had any use for decades. I tested it and it receives AM band fine, but I had trouble with the FM. Also, the volume control seems like it needs replacing. So, it is NOT factory perfect and would need some qualified attention. Selling it as is.Note: Eventually the Tandy Company (Radio Shack) bought Allied Radio and a legendary electronics supplier was gone forever. NOTE: The shipping charges listed by Ebay or NOT correct !
