RARE 1930'S GENERAL ELECTRIC WESTMINSTER CHIME STEEPLE CLOCK. TELECHRON I cannot find another example of this clock -- it is a very rare survivor in very nice condition -- clock chimes as it should -- Dings the correct time on the hour and plays chime if you set the clock correctly using the directions on the back of the door. Sometimes I think some of the notes in the chime might be a little flat (do not resonate as long) but it's hard for me to tell. The clock runs very quietly. I tested the time for about 8 hours and seemed to be keeping time well. The clock has gold leaf on the glass that was peeling and it looks the previous owner added a gold foil background to achieve a similar appearance. The Cabinet is in very nice condition. Clock measures: 15" Tall x 9" wide x 6" inches Deep
