The Leaf Digital Magazine provides external storage and power for Valeo and Aptus medium format digital backs (MFDB) via Firewire. It allows the normally tethered-only Valeo backs to be used untethered, and provides extra storage and power to all supported backs. The slow 4200 rpm drive has been replace with 32GB of new flash SSD storage. Comes with four (4) used NP-FM500 compatible batteries and one charger. Battery life and charge capacity have not been tested. No cables or other parts included. Note:Available storage will be less due to manufacture's reporting capacity in SI units instead of binary units used by operating systems.Some storage space is used by required system files.Does not come with cables, tripod U-adapter, or tripod mounting plate.Requires a compatible digital back to use.You must load the correct profiles for your camera and MFDB to the unit before use.
