Antique Vintage ROTOTILLER Model T Troy-Bilt don't know the year but it's early - $130 - (Seymour, IN)
This is a very early, Model T, Troy-bilt tiller, they were unusual, as you can see, the last 12" of the handles were wooden, and these are still snug in the handle bars, the ball you see on the control lever is wooden, they did this I was told, so people would still be able to tell they were using a powered garden tool. I took this one in trade, when I was an early Troy-Bilt dealer, was going to use it as display, but was too busy, or too tired to do it. They engine that comes with it is a 2hp, I believe, Tecumseh, and it is in excellent condition. These things were produced about the later 1930's, I think this one is about 1937. I probably won't be able to ship it, but it can be loaded in the trunk of some cars, it is heavy, so plan on that before you bid. I stand corrected, this is a Model T, not a Model A as I had originally listed it. I have stored it indoors for the past 30+ years. Thanks for looking, and Happy Bidding!
