This is limited edition (500, plus 25 artist’s proofs) Hand Painted Animation Cel from Walt Disney’s 1950 film, Cinderella. The original animation drawings were inked by a Disney artist, and this inked line was transferred to acetate plastic cels. The colors are Disney created acrylic based paints that were hand applied by Disney painters. To protect the lines and paints, each limied edition cel has been laminated on both sides with clear plastic. The background scenes have been faithfully reproduced by a Disney background artist, using as reference original background paintings from the film. Hand signed and numbered 455/500 This cel is from the scene “The Music Lessson”. From a Disney limited edition issued in 1987. The cel itself is in like new condition. The outside glazing on the frame is plexiglass has some very faint scratches upon very close inspection but it still displays great with an elegant wood frame. There is an envelope on back which is empty. Cel measures about 15.5” x 12” Frame measures about 26” by 22.5”
