They have been kept in a dry, smoke free environment and have been washed in cold water with tide free. They measure 22 inches long and are 5 inches across. The cute pom-poms are attached to black matching yarn strings that are woven in and out just below the upper cuff. They can be adjusted to whatever width you might like just above the calf. They definitely help them stay up. Come to think of it I feel like putting them on right now! Ha!
