Vintage SINGER 31-15 Industrial Sewing Machine with Table Top & Motor - $165 - (Parsippany, NJ)
This is a SINGER 31-15 Industrial Sewing Machine with table top and 1/4 HP, 3.9 Amp, 1725 RPM motor as shown. My father picked this up as a spare but these are so well made, it wasn't needed and it hasn't been used in at least 30 years (maybe more). The motor comes on when powered but the plastic around the power switch is damaged and needs to be replaced. The motor seemed to work properly when tested and all the moving parts move freely. The hinge pins to connect it to the table top are also missing but it sits solidly in the top which is solid and heavy. Note that it is missing the table legs and foot peddle so this is for parts or repair. (The saw horses are not included.) The table itself is 48"long x 22" deep. This machine should obviously be thoroughly lubricated and gone over before being put to use and the belt should be replaced.
