1940’s Antique Toy Wooden /Tin DC3 Airplane Model Folk Art Americana Skyways Airlines. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS Mail. Up for grabs is one 1940’s looks to be folk art but I don’t really know if it’s hand made or produced. I have never seen another one which would lead me to think it’s hand made but it’s made really well for the 1940’s which is what I was told from the old timer I purchased it from years ago. The body is wood and the rest of it is tin . It measures: wing span is 24 inches, from nose to tail is 17 inches and from bottom to top is 4 1/4” . Now from what I have researched about Skyways Airlines they were going pretty strong with DC3’s in the 1940’s .
