I am selling my Excellent++ 135mm f3.5 Tele-Xenar lens, in an Exakta mount, made by the Schneider Kreuznach company in Germany, serial #5310161 (1957). It comes with an original lens hood, #27/2 and an SK front lens cap, plus a rear lens cap (no Brand) and a good leather case made by Vivitar. Focusing is done wide open at f/3.5, and the shutter release resets the f/stop to the preset setting. It is a very well made and beautifully finished lens. The lens body is nearly flawless, with no defects in the metal shell, and only very minor usage marks in the nice, shiny black paint. The glass is pristine: no scratches, polish markings, fungus, haze or significant internal dust. The focus is smooth, with resistance, and the aperture stops are crisp. The aperture blades are clean and free of oil. The original #27/2 screw-in metal lens hood is undamaged, with only the smallest usage markings in the hard, high gloss black paint. This hood stores neatly, upside-down, screwed into the lens filter threads. This reduces the lens' size while stored. See the photos of the hood in place. The plastic genuine SK screw-in front lens cap #222127 is in Exc++ condition. So is the unbranded rear lens cap. The lens mount shows minor wear on the bayonet lugs. See all the photos before buying.
