This is a 1973-74 Red Alternate Columbus Owls IHL Game Worn Lace-up Jersey worn by Michel Laurendeau, made by Agler-Davidson Sporting Goods. Great wear to this Vintage Durene Jersey, and beautiful Alternate Owls Crest runs across the front of the Jersey, and the Hoot Owl Patch appears on each shoulder. Comes with LOA. Hello collectors,,, I am updating this auction after researching further on this jersey, and hearing from a few collectors as well about this style. In 1976 -77 the owls was screen printed on the front.. In 1973-74 the owls was sewn on the front.... I have found pictures that I have been able to match the style as 73-74,,, placement of the shoulder numbers and owl patches are correct. the center of the lace down yoke that comes together, comes down to just the left of the middle of the (w) in Owls... placement is the same on this jersey as it is in action photo's... I do know from owning Durene jerseys from all of the other teams in the IHL in the early 70's all teams wore sewn on crest and numbers... the Screen printing started in the middle 70's an onward...
