Lovely antique hand knitted/crocheted bedspread or coverlet from the estate of a lady married in 1898 - she had created numerous crocheted doilies, runners and hand-embroidered linens for her trousseau. This spread is in excellent shape, with a beautiful and unusual diamond-and-leaf pattern; only flaws are some loose thread ends that you may choose to cut off, or not. The color is "antique white." Shown on a queen size bed - works here as a coverlet or on a full size bed as a spread. Measures approximately 88" long by 77" wide, will stretch a bit more. Weighs just over 4 lbs unpackaged.
