Antique Copper Bucket/Kettle | 19th Century Antique | Swedish Antique - $100 - (Davisville, WV)

Antique Swedish copper. Mark shows "ABB" in a box. This is the mark of Anders Blomberg of Kristinehamn Sweden which operated from 1819-1847, so this item is a minimum of 170 years old. It measures 7 5/8" at the bottom, 6 5/8" at the top and is 6 1/2" tall. It has a concave bottom and weighs a little over 2 pounds. It has dings, bumps, and bangs, but no serious damage and does hold water. It is missing original bail (replaced by copper tubing). It is not tin lined, but appears to have lead/silver (paint) residue on the inside. Overall patina is very nice.
