For sale is a very nice N Series Conn 8D professional double french horn made in Elkhart Indiana. This horn plays with the characteristics of a well built french horn. The sound is warm, it is very responsive, and every note slots well within all registers. The high range is singing and clear, and the low range is powerful and large. This horn really is a dream to play. There are no major dents in the horn. There is evidence of dent removal, though, in the bell tail. There are small dings throughout the horn. None of these things are affecting the playability of the horn in any way. The valves all have great compression. They all function quickly, smoothly, and quietly.
