Couesnon Valve Trombone; Vintage, Paris, Brass Lacquer - $650 - (Sioux City, IA)
For consideration is a vintage Couesnon valve trombone. It does have general cosmetic wear from normal use, but no major issues to affect play-ability. The body is in nice condition overall, but has plenty of scratching, scuffs, minor dents and lacquer loss throughout. There is dent scarring in a few of the bows and other spots. It has a joint missing, a non-original top valve cap / button, and the thumb pull is off of the second valve slide. The slides are all free and smooth. The valves are in nice condition and are aligned. The compression on the horn is good. It has been chem cleaned and is gig ready as-is. A case is included, but in isn't in very good condition.
