Vintage 48” Round RATTAN Dining Table + 4 Chairs - $189 - (Richardson, TX)

This 48” round table rattan dining set is in very good condition. All of the chairs swivel. No weakness in any of the structures. The table surface is pristine with no gouges, divots or scrapes. It has been respectfully used for 40 years, and except for the cushions is in perfect working condition. The emerging 'modern' styles of mid century furniture can be seen in the bentwood rattan. The cushions will require replacement or reupholstering to return this set to like-new condition. The amazing attribute of this very well made set is the table top that, even after 40 years of daily use, has absolutely no damage of any kind, no scratches, nicks, stains, burns - it seems to be indestructible. There is some minor wear of the shellac or varnish at a few points on the edge of the table (see photos) but not on the top. The chairs all swivel as they should. The only issue with this set other than the cushions is that some of the rattan binding at the tip of 2 of the chair handles is missing, but this does not compromise the use of the chairs nor reduce their strength or integrity (again, please see photos). This set has always been in a smoke and pet-free environment. We are located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Local pickup only please.
