This is a beautiful Vintage Hand painted Chinese Carved Screen in solid wood, on one side is black lacquer with birds and foliage carved and painted with gold leaf skillfully applied to highlight the decoration. The other side is black with green bamboo designs, total of 12 panels (20 inches each) so the total width is 240 inches, the height is 9 ft for each panel and the depth of each panel is 1 inch. Not sure exactly the age of this panel but the owner had it in his possession for over 25 years, I was told is from the 1930's or 40's period.
