ANTIQUE 1897 ROOKWOOD HAND-PAINTED VASE by "MAD" MATT A. DALY. ALL ORIGINAL. TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES...they are part of our description. Condition is EXCELLENT, some wear to be expected from USE and AGE...PRE-OWNED...Usual Glaze Crazing...NO CHIPS...NO BREAKS...NO REPAIRS. There is a Pin Hole and Tiny (1/8") Glaze Miss from the Factory on the Back of the Vase. Some Tape Residue on the bottom, that can be removed. Overall size is about 10-3/4" Tall x 6" Wide (Bulbous Portion); Opening is 4" Wide in Diameter; Base is 3-1/4" Wide in Diameter. Signed on the Bottom with ROOKWOOD LOGO, and 11 Flame Marks (indicating, 1897), going around, 827, MAD. BEAUTIFUL HAND-PAINTED MUMS or CHRYSANTHEMUMS or both and a few LEAVES going all around...it's painted on thickly, so there is a raised texture to the Flowers.
