Classic Variety - 1940-S Jefferson Nickel RPM-001 - $25 - (Ellensburg, WA)

all of the pics I see on the official sites showing doubled die errors DDO-001 & DDR have a different shape on the loop of the 9 in 1940. here the loop of the 9 is rounded instead of having a straight area on the inside loop to the east.I can't confirm the die scratches over the numbers due to die creep. no doubt about the mint mark, though... open bid is based on the book Cherrypickers, it seems nicer than EF but I did not bump it all the way to AU...seems like a higher digit AU grade but I am no expert. I just find errors and varieties. more pics or questions? just ask.
