VINTAGE Roland SP-808 EX Phrase Loop Song Sampler I have been using an SP-808 since they were released in 1999. I immediately fell in love with it and purchased a backup unit. The SP-808 I am selling in this listing is my backup unit. It has rarely been used and is in perfect/mint cosmetic and functional condition. It has been upgraded to the EX version of the operating system as well as the larger 250mb zip drive. The original 100mb zip drive is also included. Also included is 6 brand new factory sealed 250mb zip disks as well as 4 100mb zip disks in like new condition. The original factory sample disk is also included, but has long since been re-formatted and is now blank. The SP-808 is an instrument like no other. It was almost certainly the inspiration for Ableton Live. Anyway, this is an incredible package for the SP-808 lover. Everything pictured is included. :-) ALSO AVAILABLE for an EXTRA $250, is a like new condition AND EXTREMELY RARE multi-card reader/writer (CF/SD/SmartMedia/etc.) that is fully compatible with the SP-808. It replaces the zip drive and is a perfect fit. I have been using an identical drive (I bought two, so I had a backup) in my other/main SP-808 for about 15 years and they are fantastic - and very hard to find. Anyway, if the buyer of this SP-808 doesn' t want it for an ADDITIONAL $250; no worries, I will post it in a separate listing.
