From Beginner to Pro, the waterproof radio helmets provide real-time coaching. No more shouting or hand signals, just clear communication. Great for any sport (on water or not) where an instructor needs to speak to a skier, etc. The helmet electronics and integrated ear speakers are fully waterproof. Magnetically operated switches are controlled via the included magnet which is on the lanyard. We bought brand new in 2014 for $850us and have installed brand new NiMH rechargeable batteries in both helmets this December. The battery in the Kirisun PT4200 FM Handheld Transceiver (the radio/transceiver is worth $100us alone) should last for a long time yet as we left the radio turned-on for a full 2-days and we were still able to transmit to the helmets no problem.
