HE JOINED THE 1ST NY IN THE CIVIL WAR.AFTER THE LITTLE BIGN HORN HE SERVED IN THE 8TH CAV FIGHTING IN THE DAKOTA'S AND THEN IN ARIZONA IN THE GER0NIMO CAMPAIGN.
