Premium Grade Engleman Spruce Soundboard Sets As grading Engleman spruce is rather arbitrary depending on who does the grading. And I am no expert on grading matters so I set up a good, better, best for my personal grading system. Good is probably an A grade, better is AA, with best being a AAA with a few AAAA or master grade sets in a large lot. The set I am offering here is a AA quality sets based on visual observations with the following criteria: *Quarter sawn *Tight grain near the middle, 15 per inch min. most exceed * Slightly colored *Sraight grain *Air dried for a least 15 years. This set is suitable for Super Jumbo size guitar. Set #329 Gorgeous set!!!With the exception of some slight grain color variation this set could easily qualify as AAA.
