Sterling Silver Ornate Lorgnette Glasses with Cupids - $300 - (Surprise, AZ)
Beautiful detailed Victorian eyeglass lorgnette made from heavy sterling silver. The case has a button on the upper handle edge that when pressed, pops the glasses out. The glasses then fold in half and return to the case. There is a detailed design of cupids on each side of the lorgnette. The center of each side has a smooth section that on one side is engraved with a stylized initial. I am unable to tell what the initial is. The glasses are in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and fit tightly into the frames. There is a small indentation on the center engravable sections. I have not polished these as some people prefer the patina, however they should polish up nicely. Measures approx 5" x 1". Shipping includes tracing and full insurance.
