LP Brass Tito Puente Professional Model Timbalitos - VINTAGE 1986 - $250 - (Oakdale, CA)

I purchased these back in 1986 but did not use them much. In fact I don't remember every using them out of the house.They have spent most of their time covered and in an indoor closet.The label on each drum states "Professional Timbales Tito Puente Model". They are brass, have a beautiful warm tone and still have the original heads. I can find one major scratch on the small drum rim which came from sliding the cowbell bracket down onto the stand. It is a tight fit.There are some small / light scratches on the brass and there is one spot where the it looks like something streaked the brass, perhaps during manufacture. (See Photos). The stand is in great condition, with no substantial scratches. It is chrome, tilting and height adjustable and has an anti rattle sleeve. The LP sticker has gotten scratched in storage.The pads on the stand bracket are made of soft foam and cradle the drums nice and level.I will include a cowbell bracket that came with my regular timbales. It broke off at the bottom early on so I used the timbalito bracket for my timbales. Eventually I got this one welded and have cleaned it up and painted the weld area with chrome paint. The weld is strong.Since it was used for a while, you will see some small dings in the chrome from use and storage. It slides just fine.This set in in great condition an not available now with these particular labels on the drums.I removed the tilting bracket from the stand to allow shipping in a shorter box and save on cost. It is easily re-mounted.I am asking a pretty low price for this set. I don't play at all anymore or I would not be letting them go. Even with shipping you will save a substantial amount off the cost of a new set. I sell and ship only to the lower 48 US States.Thanks very much for your interest.
