This is a fine musical automated alarm pocket watch. Most likely made in the last 20 years. It measures just over 57 millimeters in diameter not including the crown. After you wind the music with the included key, you can play the music in 2 different ways. You can turn the alarm hand by turning the crown located at 11 o'clock on the side of the case. The crown will only move the alarm hand backwards, and when it reaches the hour hand it will play music, and the maiden pumps water in the pond, the water comes out of the pump, the horse drinks from the pond, and the man raises the falcon as it plays a musical tune. You can also make it play by opening the back cover and pushing the music button in. To use it as an alarm watch you simply set the alarm hand at the time you want it to go off and make sure it is wound up. Open the back cover and it acts as a stand for a "desk clock" The watch movement is a swiss made 17 jewel shock proof movement that keeps great time. This is a standard wind and set watch.
