JHQ ! JOE H. QUINTANA ! FINE LARGE STERLING RARE CONCHO BELT - $12,000 - (North Scituate, RI)

This is my favorite "go-to" belt and it has been in my private collection for over 35 years. It was purchased from the artist, JHQ, at a Gallup New Mexico rodeo. I purchased it from him. It is large. The conchos are 3.5" by 3". The entire leather pad with concho measures 4 1/8" by 3 5/8." The leather pads have rare stamping of crescents done by the artist. The conchos themselves are sterling and in the first phase style. The buckle measures 3 3/4" by 2 3/4". The mark is deep and clear with the artist's initials and mountain peaks. Entire length = 41 3/4". The leather pads are all original. Grams = 840.
