Imperial Russia Niello Sterling 84 Snuff Box Vesta Designer From 1800s Antique - $999 - (Bonne Terre, MO)

Imperial Russia Niello sterling design snuff or vesta box in excellent condition from the 1800s. This fabulous box is marked with: T.T. 84 and 18__ the rest of the 1800s date has worn off. On the inside lid, there is another symbol that I cannot make out. Then, on the right side of the inside lid the letters appear to be: UNAQH NH in caps. The niello design is gilded with a Russian warrior on the lid of the box, and the Russian countryside on the bottom of the box. Measuring 2 1/2 by 1 1/2 inches, this snuff box is amazingly beautiful with fabulous workmanship. Please feel free to ask any questions.
