21 Chopin Nocturnes on Floppy Disk for Player Pianos Not sure if your piano will play MIDI or E-Seq Disk's? This listing is for 21 Chopin Nocturnes on 2 DIFFERENT Floppy Disks, One Floppy will be 21 Nocturnes in General Midi Format. The second disk will be the SAME 21 Nocturnes in the Yamaha E-Seq Format. If your piano is like mine - A Yamaha with XG compatible player module - then Both Disk's in different formats will work (MIDI & E-Seq). If you are not sure what your piano will play then this is an inexpensive way to find out for sure. This is not for CD ONLY pianos' you must have the older floppy disk players. E-Seq is a standard Yamaha file format compatible with all Disklaviers, Clavinova digital pianos, and other Yamaha products. The Disklavier II XG normally uses SMF format for recording songs, however it can also format disks as E-SEQ format for compatibility with earlier disklaviers and other Yamaha instruments. E-SEQ TYPE DISKS:The Disklavier automatically records E-SEQ format songs onto E-SEQ disks. E-SEQ disks can hold up to 60 E-SEQ songs. SMF (Standard MIDI File) songs cannot be copied to E-SEQ disks. We ship our floppy disks formatted to the 2SDD standard to maintain compatibility with older pianos for the following reason: Earlier Disklaviers and older Yamaha instruments will not read high-density disks of any format.
