Excellent Vintage 17’ Otca Wooden Canoe June 1939 by Old Town Canoe - $1,795 - (Ashland, KY)
Up for your consideration is a 17’ Otca Canoe model that was built in June of 1939 by Old Town Canoe. It is green and it was originally shipped to Ironton, OH. I have attached the build slip and a page from the 1939 catalog that features this model. Serial #124589 according to manufacturer info it’s made of Open Spruce & Birch. It appears to be in good condition with typical scratches and scuffs from usage. It has been properly stored hanging in a garage for the last 10 years. It has no visible holes. The removable floor railing is intact with some damage. A great find. Although local pick up is listed arrangements can be made to have it shipped, meet part way, or deliver for a fee. It’s is available for in person viewing in our store located in Ashland, KY. All questions welcome.
