Vintage Ornate Silver Plate Cover Finial ORNATE DETAIL ETCHED 5"X4.5" LampShade - $3 - (Palmyra, ME)

Vintage ornate cover of some kind. This has a finial on top. The bottom measures just over 5 in across. And it stands about 4 and 1/2 inches high. The item weighs 12 oz... So it's sturdy. Looks like it could go over like a cheese dish Or it actually looks like it could be some kind of a lampshade, I'm just not sure.
