Please email with any questions. Charmingly designed "coal scuttle" style sugar server from Victorian England. 5 1/2" long, 5" high including the handle, 3" diameter base. Stamped on the underside MADE IN SHEFFIELD ENGLAND, also marked with four Olde Englishe style letters that must stand for the manufacturer. This sugar server has a hinged lid and two handles. The lid and sides are stamped with casual sprays of daffodil and fern, English countryside favorites. We include an antique silverplate sugar serving spoon, 5 1/4" long. There are unknown hallmarks on the back of the spoon handle. The handle and bowl decorated with engraved border and a flower in the bowl. The spoon is not a match for the sugar server but has a harmonious style. The sugar server needs further polishing. There are a few little dimple on the surface and a few spots where the plating is thin and worn.
