Antique Handmade Steamship Folk Art Boat with wood stand .Circa early 1900's.Purchased in New England in the 50s and been in the family ever since. Made from Pine and Tin. Good condition,all original paint ,though flaking in places. This is a beautiful boat that measures about 28.5 inches long x 14.5" tall x 7" wide. Although probably originally equipped with a wind-up motor,the front hatch covers space for an electric motor while the cabin structure lifts off revealing a large compartment big enough for several 9V batteries or rechargeable Lithium batteries. This beauty is well built and looks like it could run all day on a big pond or small lake.It has a bracket to carry the flag of your choice . Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
