Cherub Pushing Square Figural Napkin Ring James W Tufts 1548 ca 1875 - $400 - (Jefferson City, MO)

This is an American silver plated figural napkin ring with a cherub pushing squared napkin holder upon a shaped base. The napkin ring, which is approximately 3 inches tall, was produced by the James W. Tufts company of Boston and is hallmarked as warranted quadruple plate. It has the name of S. Sowell, I believe, engraved on the top of the square. The napkin ring is in excellent antique condition. No effort has been made to polish it.
