Arts and Crafts Movement Mission Style Hammered Cast Iron Mailbox with Framed Window Six Pane and Turn Key Open. There are square spike decorations on the top and front. Very good condition with no issues noted. Has once had hooks on the bottom. I do not have these. This is a heavy box with the top, front and sides being cast iron and the back a heavy metal. It is all black. The hammered look gives it great detail. The slot opens to allow the mail to be inserted. There are some areas of white paint on the back edges and slight rust on some edges. People did not remove these when they repainted. Will be easy to remove. This one is unmarked as to the maker. The box is 10" tall.
