MATCHED PAIR MARBLE ART SCULPTURE ATOMIC MODERN CONSTANTIN BRANCUSI TABLE LAMPS ITALY 1950'S DESIGN: A rare and striking pair of Atomic Modern Marble & Brass art sculpture table lamp designs in the manner of Constantin Brancusi manufactured in Italy circa 195o's. The striking delicately balanced geometric forms are pure modern sculpture highly reminiscent of Brancusi's use of minimalistic stacked spherical & cube shapes in his stylized compositions of the 1920's. Comprised of two perpendicular oval milky white marble spheres atop highly figured brick colored marble cubes with discreet brass support rods. Complete with contemporary White Linen-like drum shades which compliments the sculptural bases perfectly while casting the ideal light upon their sculptural forms. CONDITION: These stunning Mid Century Modern sculpture lamps are in outstanding condition, completely intact and fully functional. These impressive lamps exhibit just light evidence of use and age as the marble structures are brilliant and blemish free aside from a few tiny corner nicks to the bases while the Brass finishes are gleaming. The off-white Linen like fabric shades are contemporary and a perfect compliment to the tone and texture of the sculptural bases. The sockets and power cords are original and have been inspected to be clean, safe and functional.
