ABOUT THE WORKSHOP AND YOUR INSTRUCTOR Ever wanted to try your hand at sketch comedy? Well, now's your chance! The Whiskey Bear Comedy Sketch Writing Workshop will go over the basics of sketch comedy, as well as proper formatting and script structure for writing, culminating in a Whiskey Bear Comedy sketch show that you'll contribute to as a writer! Your instructor is Dustin Meadows, the founder of Whiskey Bear Comedy. Dustin has a background in improv comedy, sketch writing, and stand-up, with nearly a decade of experience in each. He has trained at Chicago's iO theater and worked with numerous improv teams, providing improv and sketch workshops with Cardington-Lincoln High School's !mprov team (which he co-founded with faculty member and team coach, Shannon Byerly in 1998), guest coaching Ohio State University's Fishbowl Improv, and performing with Bowling Green State University's Bad Genetics (which he also co-directed) and Columbus indie team, Bear Mountain (which he founded and directed).
