Position overview Mechanical Draftsman Industrial Contractor has immediate need for a full-time, permanent, Mechanical Draftsman/Designer that is proficient with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD. This person will be responsible for creating and maintaining engineering drawings and designs from concept through fabrication and embly. They will interface with the engineering team and fabrication personnel on a daily basis. Requirements · AAS Mechanical Drafting · Minimum of 2yrs design/mechanical drafting background with Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD · 3D modeling and geometric tolerancing background is a must · Issue solving skills and competent technical writing expertise · Strong communication abilities: interpersonal, listening, oral, written and presentation · Strong user of Microsoft office suite, in particular Outlook, Microsoft excel and Ms word · Requires an understanding of, and expertise to apply engineering principals · Requires expertise to read and understand drawings, specifications
