This instrument is a Backun Clarinet, Bb, Model F, made with Cocobolo wood with Gold Keys. This instrument was a demo recently purchased from a dealer. It is like-new! I am selling it, as well as a Protege, because I just acquired a Buffet Divine Clarinet. Having owned a Backun and a Backun MoBa, and a Buffet Tosca, I prefer this Model F. This is a great instrument. The Model F is a Professional clarinet that represents the future, not the past. A host of traditionally-optional features come standard here, including the Automatic Low F Vent mechanism for impeccable intonation, left hand Eb lever for increased efficiency, inline trill keys to reduce condensation accumulation, and metal-capped tenons with carbon fibre middle joint ring for enhanced resonance.This instrument is in excellent store-demo condition.
